  1. Boil the rice half done, drain and set aside
  2. In a bowl add half cooked rice, 2 cups water, salt, star anise, red chilli, oil and on medium flame cook for 3-4 mins, drain and set aside
  3. In a wok heat oil, add chopped onions, chopped ginger and garlic and red chilies. Cook for 2 mins. Add green chilli paste and stir well.
  4. Add veg stock, add soya sauce, dark soya sauce, Veg oyster sauce, and mix well. Cook for 4-5 mins covered
  5. Add carrots, beans, mushrooms, onion cubes, corns, green capsicums, mix well. Add salt
  6. Add cornflour slurry and cook for 1 mins. Set aside
  7. Plate on cooked rice and garnish with chopped spring onion greens
