  7. 1/2 tsp Hing/ asafoetida

  14. 1 tsp Coriander powder

  1. First, heat a kadhai and add oil. When it heats up add mustard seeds.
  2. When they pop up, add the Chana and urad daals, hing, curry leaves, broken red dry chillies and sute well.

  4. Then add the peas, mix well, cover and cook with a sprinlkle of water for 5 minutes to absorb the spices.
  5. Then add in the potatoes, salt and more spices if needed and mix well. Sprinkle some more water, cover and cook further for 5 minutes.
  6. Then switch off flame, add in lemon juice and mix well. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with Dosa, Chapati, Plain rice, Puri or Paratha. It tastes yummy with everything. Enjoy.
